This trek leads though a spectacular alpine landscape with fantastic views to the world‘s highest mountain Mt. Everest! On the way to Gokyo village you pass the first Gokyo lake Longponga Tsho and the second Gokyo lake Taboche Tsho. The village Gokyo is located on shore of the third Gokyo lake Dudh Pokhari (milk lake) and is surrounded by mountains. On the summit of Gokyo Ri, shimmers the lake in brilliant emerald-green.
